The work Cloud Of Prosperity by Hao Liang was sold in the Chinese and Asian Modern and Contemporary Art auction at POLY in Macau in January 2016. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 767,000.00 (€ 90,918.39), 28% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Hao Liang achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Poison Buddha 2 in July 2020 with an auction result of HKD 16,975,000.00 (€ 1,859,839.48).

Die Arbeit Cloud Of Prosperity von Hao Liang wurde im Januar 2016 in der Auktion Chinese and Asian Modern and Contemporary Art bei POLY in Macau versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 767.000,00 (€ 90.918,39) und damit 28% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Hao Liang erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Poison Buddha 2 im Juli 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 16.975.000,00 (€ 1.859.839,48).
