Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The Odalisque by Hans Zatzka was sold in the British and European Art auction at Christies in London in July 2021. The price achieved of GBP 21,250.00 (€ 24,920.03) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 15,000.00 – 25,000.00. Other works by Hans Zatzka have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in October 2002 the work Pearls of the Sea was auctioned for USD 41,825.00 (€ 42,328.71).
