In October 2019 Sothebys in New York held the auction European Paintings, Drawings and Sculpture, which included the work Fleurs Printanières by Hans Zatzka. The »bidding war« ended at USD 32,500.00 (€ 29,134.92), 63% above the upper estimate. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Hans Zatzka; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Pearls of the Sea sold at auction in October 2002 with the realized price of USD 41,825.00 (€ 42,328.71).

Im Oktober 2019 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion European Paintings, Drawings and Sculpture durch, in der auch die Arbeit Fleurs Printanières von Hans Zatzka zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 32.500,00 (€ 29.134,92) und damit 63% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Hans Zatzka; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Pearls of the Sea im Oktober 2002 mit dem Hammerpreis von USD 41.825,00 (€ 42.328,71).
