A top price for Hans Josephsohn - as previously expected
In June 2020 Sothebys in Zurich held the auction Swiss Made UNLOCKED, which included the work Untitled, 1987 by Hans Josephsohn. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of CHF 100,000.00 – 150,000.00, the actual price achieved of CHF 112,500.00 (€ 105,808.70) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Untitled, 1987 is the most expensive artwork by Hans Josephsohn that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Im Juni 2020 führte Sothebys in Zürich die Auktion Swiss Made UNLOCKED durch, in der auch die Arbeit Untitled, 1987 von Hans Josephsohn zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von CHF 100.000,00 – 150.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von CHF 112.500,00 (€ 105.808,70) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Untitled, 1987 das teuerste Kunstwerk von Hans Josephsohn, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
