The work Balinese women with baskets by Han Snel was sold in the Modern Art auction at Christies in Amsterdam in December 2016. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 17,500.00 46% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Han Snel - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Bali, which sold at auction in March 2013 for EUR 54,300.00.

Die Arbeit Balinese women with baskets von Han Snel wurde im Dezember 2016 in der Auktion Modern Art bei Christies in Amsterdam versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 17.500,00 und damit 46% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Han Snel mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Bali beobachtet, die im März 2013 für EUR 54.300,00 versteigert wurde.
