Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2018 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Art, which included the work Female Figure by Han Snel. The price achieved of HKD 37,500.00 (€ 4,222.56) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Han Snel achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Bali in March 2013 with an auction result of EUR 54,300.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2018 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Female Figure von Han Snel zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 37.500,00 (€ 4.222,56) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 30.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Han Snel erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Bali im März 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 54.300,00.
