In November 2012 Christies in London held the auction Post War and Contemporary Art 1990 To Now, which included the work Blue and Black on White by Haluk Akakçe. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 2,750.00 (€ 3,387.72), 38% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Haluk Akakçe achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Incubation - Isolation - Transmission in April 2010 with an auction result of GBP 43,250.00 (€ 49,772.29).

Im November 2012 führte Christies in London die Auktion Post War and Contemporary Art 1990 To Now durch, in der auch die Arbeit Blue and Black on White von Haluk Akakçe zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 2.750,00 (€ 3.387,72) und damit 38% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Haluk Akakçe erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Incubation - Isolation - Transmission im April 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 43.250,00 (€ 49.772,29).
