The work Homo Pumilus Gidoronia (Male); Draconis Smaragdus; Homo Pumilus Gidoronia (Female); Dragon; Red Wyvern; Sea Serpent ; & Luxuria/Miguel by Hajime Emoto was sold in the Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) auction at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2015. The price achieved of HKD 150,000.00 (€ 18,320.39) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 120,000.00 – 180,000.00. Other works by Hajime Emoto have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in May 2010 the work Hammerhead Turtle; Romanian Dragon; Celtic Dragon; Crow Fish (Karasu-uo); Ashura gani; Evil Beast/Skeleton; Chochinimo-modoki; Mr. and Mrs. Frog; Bush Crocodile; & Sansho Unagi was auctioned for HKD 312,500.00 (€ 32,465.24).
