In the Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) auction, the work Arrow Head Lizard; Red Wyvern; Sea Serpent; Asian Dragon; European Basilisk; Dragon Turtle; Human Face Fish; Avaritia/Sebastian; Luxuria/Miguel; Ira/Miguel; Dragon; Dragon Skeleton; Homo pumilus gidoronia (male); Homo pumilus gidoronia (female); & Draconi sold for HKD 300,000.00 (€ 25,810.32) - well above the upper estimat Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Hajime Emoto; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Hammerhead Turtle; Romanian Dragon; Celtic Dragon; Crow Fish (Karasu-uo); Ashura gani; Evil Beast/Skeleton; Chochinimo-modoki; Mr. and Mrs. Frog; Bush Crocodile; & Sansho Unagi sold at auction in May 2010 with the realized price of HKD 312,500.00 (€ 32,465.24).
