Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In May 2015 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale), which included the work Dragon; Microid; Evil Beast; Merman; Coelacanth; Bull Frog; Drape Turtle; European Alraune; & Fishes Collection by Hajime Emoto. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 180,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 187,500.00 (€ 22,000.64). Other works by Hajime Emoto have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of HKD 312,500.00 (€ 32,465.24) in May 2010 for the work Hammerhead Turtle; Romanian Dragon; Celtic Dragon; Crow Fish (Karasu-uo); Ashura gani; Evil Beast/Skeleton; Chochinimo-modoki; Mr. and Mrs. Frog; Bush Crocodile; & Sansho Unagi.

Im Mai 2015 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) durch, in der auch die Arbeit Dragon; Microid; Evil Beast; Merman; Coelacanth; Bull Frog; Drape Turtle; European Alraune; & Fishes Collection von Hajime Emoto zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 180.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 187.500,00 (€ 22.000,64) einen neuen Besitzer. Andere Arbeiten von Hajime Emoto haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von HKD 312.500,00 (€ 32.465,24) im Mai 2010 für die Arbeit Hammerhead Turtle; Romanian Dragon; Celtic Dragon; Crow Fish (Karasu-uo); Ashura gani; Evil Beast/Skeleton; Chochinimo-modoki; Mr. and Mrs. Frog; Bush Crocodile; & Sansho Unagi beobachtet.
