The work Villagers by Hafiz Drubi was sold in the Modern and Contemporary Middle Eastern Art auction at Bonhams in London in November this year. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 11,520.00 (€ 13,349.17), 44% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Hafiz Drubi have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Family in May this year with an auction result of GBP 51,200.00 (€ 59,571.54).

Die Arbeit Villagers von Hafiz Drubi wurde im November diesen Jahres in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Middle Eastern Art bei Bonhams in London versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 11.520,00 (€ 13.349,17) und damit 44% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Hafiz Drubi auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Family im Mai diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 51.200,00 (€ 59.571,54).
