This artwork by Ha Chong-Hyun achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April last year. In the Contemporary Day Auction auction, the work Conjunction 97-217 sold for HKD 441,000.00 (€ 53,320.11) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 250,000.00. Admittedly, works by Ha Chong-Hyun have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Conjunction 74-24 in November 2018 with an auction result of HKD 2,750,000.00 (€ 310,385.94).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 76 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Ha Chong-Hyun erzielte im April letzten Jahres bei Sothebys in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Contemporary Day Auction wurde die Arbeit Conjunction 97-217 für HKD 441.000,00 (€ 53.320,11) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 250.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Ha Chong-Hyun auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Conjunction 74-24 im November 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.750.000,00 (€ 310.385,94).
