This work without title by György Kepes was auctioned at Bonhams in Skinner Marlborough, Massachusetts in November last year. It achieved a price of USD 4,080.00 (€ 3,952.34), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 36%. Admittedly, works by György Kepes have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work without title in May 2020 with an auction result of USD 23,825.00 (€ 21,467.83).

Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von György Kepes kam im November letzten Jahres bei Bonhams in Skinner Marlborough, Massachusetts zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 4.080,00 (€ 3.952,34) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 36%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von György Kepes auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit ohne Titel im Mai 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 23.825,00 (€ 21.467,83).
