Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Straight Sprinkler by Guy Yanai was sold in the 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale auction at Phillips in London in October this year. The price achieved of GBP 12,700.00 (€ 14,583.13) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Admittedly, works by Guy Yanai have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Bompard Interior in July this year with an auction result of GBP 88,200.00 (€ 102,902.67).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Straight Sprinkler von Guy Yanai wurde im Oktober diesen Jahres in der Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale bei Phillips in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 12.700,00 (€ 14.583,13) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Guy Yanai auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Bompard Interior im Juli diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 88.200,00 (€ 102.902,67).
