This artwork by Guy Yanai achieved an unexpectedly high price at Phillips in London in December this year. In the New Now auction, the work In the Sea sold for GBP 8,890.00 (€ 10,240.94) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Guy Yanai achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Bompard Interior in July this year with an auction result of GBP 88,200.00 (€ 102,902.67).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Guy Yanai erzielte im Dezember diesen Jahres bei Phillips in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion New Now wurde die Arbeit In the Sea für GBP 8.890,00 (€ 10.240,94) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 5.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Guy Yanai erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Bompard Interior im Juli diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 88.200,00 (€ 102.902,67).
