In May 2007 Sothebys in Sydney held the auction Important Australian Art Including Works from the Qantas Collection, which included the work Australian Wingman And Mountain by Guy Warren. The »bidding war« ended at AUD 18,000.00 (€ 11,067.87), 50% above the upper estimate. This high result makes Australian Wingman And Mountain the most expensive artwork by Guy Warren that we have observed at auctions so far.
