Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In October 2012 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction Post-War and Contemporary Art, which included this untitled work by Guy Vandenbranden. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 2,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 2,125.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Guy Vandenbranden achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in June 2017 with an auction result of EUR 22,500.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Oktober 2012 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion Post-War and Contemporary Art durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Guy Vandenbranden zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 2.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 2.125,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Guy Vandenbranden erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im Juni 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 22.500,00.
