In November 2021 Sothebys in London held the auction Photographs, which included the work 'Mai Mai soldier in training near Beni, eastern DRC, for immediate deployment with the APC (Armée Populaire du Congo), the army of the RCD-KIS-ML (Rassemblement Congolais pour la Democratie-Kisangani/Mouvement de Lliberation)', December 2002 by Guy Tillim. The price achieved of GBP 3,528.00 (€ 4,142.20) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00.
