Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Guy Bourdin could be acquired at Phillips in London in November 2021 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Photographs auction, the work French Vogue, March 1972 changed hands for GBP 25,200.00 (€ 29,587.17) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 30,000.00 – 40,000.00. Other works by Guy Bourdin have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in May 2017 by the work French Vogue, March 1972 at GBP 50,000.00 (€ 57,427.02).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Guy Bourdin konnte im November 2021 bei Phillips in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Photographs wechselte die Arbeit French Vogue, March 1972 für GBP 25.200,00 (€ 29.587,17) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 30.000,00 – 40.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Guy Bourdin wurden auch schon teurer gehandelt; den höchsten Preis, den wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachten konnten, erzielte im Mai 2017 die Arbeit French Vogue, March 1972 mit GBP 50.000,00 (€ 57.427,02).
