Auction result well in line with expectations
The work 'Charles Jourdan', January 1978 by Guy Bourdin was auctioned at Sothebys in London in November 2021. It changed hands for a price of GBP 18,900.00 (€ 22,190.38) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Guy Bourdin - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work French Vogue, March 1972, which sold at auction in May 2017 for GBP 50,000.00 (€ 57,427.02).

Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 18.900,00 (€ 22.190,38) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 15.000,00 – 20.000,00.
