Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 9.375,00 (€ 13.127,43) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 17%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Gustave de Jonghe auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Afternoon Visit im November 2001 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 110.500,00 (€ 123.353,43).
