The work Absalom by Gustav Kluge was auctioned at Lempertz in Brussels in December 2019. It achieved a price of EUR 1,116.00 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 40 %. Admittedly, works by Gustav Kluge have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work without title in November 2013 with an auction result of EUR 10,000.00.

Die Arbeit Absalom von Gustav Kluge kam im Dezember 2019 bei Lempertz in Brüssel zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 1.116,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 40 %. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Gustav Kluge auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit ohne Titel im November 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 10.000,00.
