A top price for Guo Dawei
In October 2013 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Contemporary Literati: Early Ink Masters, which included the work Zhou Zhou by Guo Dawei. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 35,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 37,500.00 (€ 3,558.56). With this result, Zhou Zhou is even the most expensive work of art by Guo Dawei that we have observed at auctions so far.
