The »bidding war« ended at EUR 1,750.00 17% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Gundula Schulze Eldowy - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work „Berlin, 1984“ (Esther und David), aus dem Zyklus „Aktportrait“, 1977-1989., which sold at auction in May 2013 for EUR 3,660.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit „Untitled, Dresden“, aus der Serie „The Big and the Little Step“. von Gundula Schulze Eldowy wurde im November 2014 in der Auktion Auktionen 229-236 - Photographie bei Grisebach versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 1.750,00 und damit 17% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Gundula Schulze Eldowy mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit „Berlin, 1984“ (Esther und David), aus dem Zyklus „Aktportrait“, 1977-1989. beobachtet, die im Mai 2013 für EUR 3.660,00 versteigert wurde.
