Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2001 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction PICTURES, WATERCOLOURS AND DRAWINGS, which included the work Composition With Figure by Guillaume Lo-A-Njoe. The price achieved of NLG 1,175.00 (€ 564.76) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as NLG 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Admittedly, works by Guillaume Lo-A-Njoe have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Composition in March 2007 with an auction result of EUR 2,880.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2001 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion PICTURES, WATERCOLOURS AND DRAWINGS durch, in der auch die Arbeit Composition With Figure von Guillaume Lo-A-Njoe zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von NLG 1.175,00 (€ 564,76) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit NLG 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Guillaume Lo-A-Njoe auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Composition im März 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 2.880,00.
