This price was achieved in the auction Kerseboom Unlimited; a no reserve sale ! at Christies in Amsterdam and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of EUR 600.00 many times over. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Guillaume Lo-A-Njoe; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Composition sold at auction in March 2007 with the realized price of EUR 2,880.00.
