Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Guillaume Lo-A-Njoe was auctioned at Christies in Amsterdam in March 2002. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 1,200.00 – 1,600.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 1,292.50 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Guillaume Lo-A-Njoe - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Composition, which sold at auction in March 2007 for EUR 2,880.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Guillaume Lo-A-Njoe kam im März 2002 bei Christies in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 1.200,00 – 1.600,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 1.292,50 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Für andere Arbeiten von Guillaume Lo-A-Njoe mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Composition beobachtet, die im März 2007 für EUR 2.880,00 versteigert wurde.
