Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Guillaume Lo-A-Njoe could be acquired at Christies in Amsterdam in July 2003 for an unexpectedly low price. In the PICTURES, WATERCOLOURS AND DRAWINGS auction, the work Composition changed hands for EUR 418.25 - missing the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 600.00 – 800.00. Admittedly, works by Guillaume Lo-A-Njoe have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Composition in March 2007 with an auction result of EUR 2,880.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Guillaume Lo-A-Njoe konnte im Juli 2003 bei Christies in Amsterdam für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion PICTURES, WATERCOLOURS AND DRAWINGS wechselte die Arbeit Composition für EUR 418,25 den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 600,00 – 800,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Guillaume Lo-A-Njoe auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Composition im März 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 2.880,00.
