Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Mnémothèque by Guido Biasi was sold in the Post-War and Contemporary Art auction at Christies in Milan in May 2007. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 1,000.00 – 1,500.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 1,116.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Guido Biasi have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Panoplia erotica in December 2016 with an auction result of EUR 7,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Mnémothèque von Guido Biasi wurde im Mai 2007 in der Auktion Post-War and Contemporary Art bei Christies in Mailand versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 1.116,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Guido Biasi auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Panoplia erotica im Dezember 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 7.000,00.
