A top price for Guan Nianci - as previously expected
The work Fragrance of Flowers by Guan Nianci was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2017. The price achieved of HKD 150,000.00 (€ 17,127.98) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 120,000.00 – 200,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Fragrance of Flowers is the most expensive artwork by Guan Nianci that we have observed at auctions so far.

Die Arbeit Fragrance of Flowers von Guan Nianci kam im Mai 2017 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 150.000,00 (€ 17.127,98) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 120.000,00 – 200.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Fragrance of Flowers das teuerste Kunstwerk von Guan Nianci, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
