Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Noble Ladies At Residence by Guan Nianci was sold in the Fine Chinese Paintings auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2018. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 50,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 56,250.00 (€ 6,333.83). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Guan Nianci - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Fragrance of Flowers, which sold at auction in May 2017 for HKD 150,000.00 (€ 17,127.98).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Noble Ladies At Residence von Guan Nianci wurde im Oktober 2018 in der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 50.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 56.250,00 (€ 6.333,83) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Guan Nianci mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Fragrance of Flowers beobachtet, die im Mai 2017 für HKD 150.000,00 (€ 17.127,98) versteigert wurde.
