It achieved a price of HKD 50,000.00 (€ 5,799.07), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 67%. Admittedly, works by Gu Luo have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Character And Landscape in April 2013 with an auction result of HKD 483,000.00 (€ 47,280.30).

Die Arbeit Flowers and Fruit/Calligraphy in Standard Script von Gu Luo wurde im November 2019 in der Auktion Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 50.000,00 (€ 5.799,07) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 67%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Gu Luo auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Character And Landscape im April 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 483.000,00 (€ 47.280,30).
