The work Lychee by Gu Luo was sold in the Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy II auction at POLY in Hong Kong in April 2017. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 47,200.00 (€ 5,571.29), 57% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Gu Luo have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Character And Landscape in April 2013 with an auction result of HKD 483,000.00 (€ 47,280.30).

Die Arbeit Lychee von Gu Luo wurde im April 2017 in der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy II bei POLY in Hong Kong versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 47.200,00 (€ 5.571,29) und damit 57% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Gu Luo auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Character And Landscape im April 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 483.000,00 (€ 47.280,30).
