Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2017 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Fine Chinese Paintings, which included the work Studio In Spring Mist by Gu Linshi. It changed hands for a price of HKD 87,500.00 (€ 9,630.41) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 70,000.00 – 90,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Gu Linshi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Landscape in October 2013 with an auction result of HKD 1,360,000.00 (€ 129,056.94).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2017 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Studio In Spring Mist von Gu Linshi zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 87.500,00 (€ 9.630,41) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 70.000,00 – 90.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Gu Linshi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Landscape im Oktober 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.360.000,00 (€ 129.056,94).
