Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Gu Linshi achieved an unexpectedly high price at China Guardian in Hong Kong in April 2018. In the Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy auction, the work Memories Of Mom sold for HKD 448,400.00 (€ 47,313.37) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 200,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Gu Linshi - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Landscape, which sold at auction in October 2013 for HKD 1,360,000.00 (€ 129,056.94).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Gu Linshi erzielte im April 2018 bei China Guardian in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy wurde die Arbeit Memories Of Mom für HKD 448.400,00 (€ 47.313,37) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 200.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Gu Linshi mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Landscape beobachtet, die im Oktober 2013 für HKD 1.360.000,00 (€ 129.056,94) versteigert wurde.
