Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Calligraphic Couplet by Gu Linshi was auctioned at POLY in Hong Kong in October 2017. The price achieved of HKD 14,160.00 (€ 1,558.48) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 12,000.00 – 20,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Gu Linshi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Landscape in October 2013 with an auction result of HKD 1,360,000.00 (€ 129,056.94).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Calligraphic Couplet von Gu Linshi kam im Oktober 2017 bei POLY in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 14.160,00 (€ 1.558,48) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 12.000,00 – 20.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Gu Linshi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Landscape im Oktober 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.360.000,00 (€ 129.056,94).
