A top price for Gu Jianlong
The work Peach Blossom Spring by Gu Jianlong was sold in the The Roy and Marilyn Papp Collection of Chinese Paintings auction at Sothebys in New York in September 2016. It achieved a price of USD 52,500.00 (€ 46,716.50), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 31%. With this result, Peach Blossom Spring is even the most expensive work of art by Gu Jianlong that we have observed at auctions so far.

Die Arbeit Peach Blossom Spring von Gu Jianlong wurde im September 2016 in der Auktion The Roy and Marilyn Papp Collection of Chinese Paintings bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 52.500,00 (€ 46.716,50) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 31%. Mit diesem Ergebnis ist Peach Blossom Spring sogar das teuerste Kunstwerk von Gu Jianlong, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
