Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Flowers by Gu Jianlong was sold in the Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy auction at POLY in Hong Kong in November 2021. It changed hands for a price of HKD 18,000.00 (€ 2,001.42) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 10,000.00 – 20,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Gu Jianlong achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Peach Blossom Spring in September 2016 with an auction result of USD 52,500.00 (€ 46,716.50).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Flowers von Gu Jianlong wurde im November 2021 in der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy bei POLY in Hong Kong versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 18.000,00 (€ 2.001,42) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 10.000,00 – 20.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Gu Jianlong erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Peach Blossom Spring im September 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 52.500,00 (€ 46.716,50).
