Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Buddha by Gu Jianlong was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2007. The price achieved of HKD 72,000.00 (€ 6,855.87) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 60,000.00 – 80,000.00. Admittedly, works by Gu Jianlong have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Peach Blossom Spring in September 2016 with an auction result of USD 52,500.00 (€ 46,716.50).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Buddha von Gu Jianlong kam im Mai 2007 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 72.000,00 (€ 6.855,87) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 60.000,00 – 80.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Gu Jianlong auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Peach Blossom Spring im September 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 52.500,00 (€ 46.716,50).
