Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Travelling in the Mountains by Gu Fuzhen was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2016. The price achieved of HKD 1,480,000.00 (€ 171,060.62) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 1,200,000.00 – 1,800,000.00. Admittedly, works by Gu Fuzhen have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Landscapes and Figures in June 2015 with an auction result of HKD 6,040,000.00 (€ 698,547.61).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Travelling in the Mountains von Gu Fuzhen kam im Mai 2016 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 1.480.000,00 (€ 171.060,62) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 1.200.000,00 – 1.800.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Gu Fuzhen auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Landscapes and Figures im Juni 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 6.040.000,00 (€ 698.547,61).
