Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Gu Fuzhen achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2018. In the Fine Classical Chinese Paintings auction, the work Landscape sold for HKD 325,000.00 (€ 34,292.70) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 120,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Gu Fuzhen achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Landscapes and Figures in June 2015 with an auction result of HKD 6,040,000.00 (€ 698,547.61).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Gu Fuzhen erzielte im April 2018 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Fine Classical Chinese Paintings wurde die Arbeit Landscape für HKD 325.000,00 (€ 34.292,70) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 120.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Gu Fuzhen erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Landscapes and Figures im Juni 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 6.040.000,00 (€ 698.547,61).
