In the Post-War & Contemporary Art X Made in California Part II Online auction, the work River Poles, Sacramento River, 1979 sold for USD 8,960.00 (€ 8,465.61) - well above the upper estimate of USD 5,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Gregory Kondos - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Yountville, California Napa Valley, 1985, which sold at auction in September last year for USD 31,875.00 (€ 32,582.03).
