In the Post-War & Contemporary Art X Made in California Part II Online auction, the work Lake Palms, Florida, 1973 sold for USD 7,680.00 (€ 7,256.24) - well above the upper estimate of USD 3,000.00. Admittedly, works by Gregory Kondos have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Yountville, California Napa Valley, 1985 in September last year with an auction result of USD 31,875.00 (€ 32,582.03).
