Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In May 2002 Christies in Milan held the auction ARTE MODERNA E CONTEMPORANEA, which included the work Natura morta con melograni, zucca e pere by Gregorio Sciltian. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 16,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 17,360.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Gregorio Sciltian - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Musikstunde, which sold at auction in March 2007 for EUR 61,200.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Mai 2002 führte Christies in Mailand die Auktion ARTE MODERNA E CONTEMPORANEA durch, in der auch die Arbeit Natura morta con melograni, zucca e pere von Gregorio Sciltian zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 16.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 17.360,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Gregorio Sciltian mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Musikstunde beobachtet, die im März 2007 für EUR 61.200,00 versteigert wurde.
