Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Gregorio Sciltian achieved an unexpectedly high price at Il Ponte in December last year. In the 19th and 20th century Paintings and Sculptures auction, the work Libri sold for EUR 7,000.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 3,000.00. Admittedly, works by Gregorio Sciltian have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Musikstunde in March 2007 with an auction result of EUR 61,200.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Gregorio Sciltian erzielte im Dezember letzten Jahres bei Il Ponte einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion 19th and 20th century Paintings and Sculptures wurde die Arbeit Libri für EUR 7.000,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 3.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Gregorio Sciltian auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Musikstunde im März 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 61.200,00.
