Upper estimated price slightly exceeded

Here, the upper estimate of EUR 16,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 16,120.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Gregorio Sciltian - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Musikstunde, which sold at auction in March 2007 for EUR 61,200.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Natura morta con libri von Gregorio Sciltian kam im Mai 2007 bei Christies in Mailand zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 16.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 16.120,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Gregorio Sciltian mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Musikstunde beobachtet, die im März 2007 für EUR 61.200,00 versteigert wurde.
