Sold at the lower estimate price
The work Weisse Platte (White Plate) by Gregor Schneider was auctioned at Christies in Amsterdam in November 2019. The result of EUR 5,000.00 was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Gregor Schneider achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Nacht (Night), Totes Haus Ur in October 2006 with an auction result of GBP 62,400.00 (€ 93,231.16).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Die Arbeit Weisse Platte (White Plate) von Gregor Schneider kam im November 2019 bei Christies in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von EUR 5.000,00 entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 5.000,00 – 7.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Gregor Schneider erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Nacht (Night), Totes Haus Ur im Oktober 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 62.400,00 (€ 93.231,16).
