Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2019 Christies in London held the auction Important Russian Art, which included the work Study of Guri and Tikhon; Study of a girl; Study of an elder; Christmas tree; Two floral studies and View of a castle by Grand Duchess Olga. The price achieved of GBP 5,000.00 (€ 5,871.22) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Grand Duchess Olga achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Self-portrait with easel; Four landscapes; and Floral study in June 2017 with an auction result of GBP 56,250.00 (€ 64,058.26).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2019 führte Christies in London die Auktion Important Russian Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Study of Guri and Tikhon; Study of a girl; Study of an elder; Christmas tree; Two floral studies and View of a castle von Grand Duchess Olga zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 5.000,00 (€ 5.871,22) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Grand Duchess Olga erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Self-portrait with easel; Four landscapes; and Floral study im Juni 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 56.250,00 (€ 64.058,26).
