Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work An interior with spring flowers; and Three floral studies by Grand Duchess Olga was sold in the Important Russian Art auction at Christies in London in November 2018. It achieved a price of GBP 5,875.00 (€ 6,626.82), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 18%. Admittedly, works by Grand Duchess Olga have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Self-portrait with easel; Four landscapes; and Floral study in June 2017 with an auction result of GBP 56,250.00 (€ 64,058.26).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit An interior with spring flowers; and Three floral studies von Grand Duchess Olga wurde im November 2018 in der Auktion Important Russian Art bei Christies in London versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 5.875,00 (€ 6.626,82) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 18%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Grand Duchess Olga auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Self-portrait with easel; Four landscapes; and Floral study im Juni 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 56.250,00 (€ 64.058,26).
