Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Four farmyard scenes; A floral study; An autumnal landscape; and Tea table with samovar and afternoon tea by Grand Duchess Olga was sold in the Important Russian Art auction at Christies in London in November 2019. The price achieved of GBP 5,000.00 (€ 5,871.22) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Grand Duchess Olga achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Self-portrait with easel; Four landscapes; and Floral study in June 2017 with an auction result of GBP 56,250.00 (€ 64,058.26).
